Rev. Cassie Davenport

Cassie is a native of Maryville, Tennessee. After graduation from Sequoyah  High School in May2009, Cassie moved to Cookeville to attend Tennessee Technological University. During her last two years of college, she served as Director of Youth Ministries at Algood United Methodist Church, where she discerned her call to ministry. She also was active at the Wesley Foundation during her time at Tennessee Tech. She gradated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in May 2013. After graduation, Cassie moved to the Nashville area to pursue ministry. Cassie received her license as a local pastor in the United Methodist Church in May 2015. She is passionate about student ministry and feels that it is necessary to minister to the whole family, not just students. She currently serves as the Pastor of Student Ministries, working with students from birth to 18 years old in the church. When she’s not working with children & youth, she spends much of her time with her husband, Jesse. She also enjoys reading, teaching, cooking, traveling to new places, and organizing.
